  1. Hi All,

A buddy of mine from the US is working in Australia and will have a weekend in Sydney. He rode pro for the Webcor team this year, so he's a pretty fast guy as you can imagine. He is looking for fast and fun training rides in Sydney over the weekend - regular training rides, not just training partners. If it was Melbourne, I'd have an easy time hooking him up - Hell Ride, North Road Ride and plenty of others. But I don't know Sydney very well, so can anyone give me suggestions? It would be great if you could include ride time, day, description and name.

    Cheers,

    Roadie.

  2. isn't Centennial Park the local drag strip up there?

  3. other than that, perhaps try calling some of the big shops up there.

here's a list of some rides on the Turramurra Cyclery site

I'm fairly sure they're the guys who "run" the ride that goes up to Akuna
Bay. My understanding is that's a fairly quick ride. Also they do a
    regular Tuesday evening ride.

There's also a group on the southside who do a fairly regular run through
the Royal NP IIRC. Maybe try calling Bates Cycles who are down that way
    somewhere.
