From the wilds of Gedney Marsh, I am about to leave again for the far
east where I have been working since the December Tsunami disaster. I'm sorry I have missed so much useful dialogue but needs must as the saying goes. I'm going back in the next couple of days and will probably be away for some months at least - there is so much work to do. Jess the Dog has now maily recovered from the wound she recieved at the hands of a very misguided local who thought she would make a good meal!!!! - I had to assure him otherwise!!! - I shall get her fit again and we shall continue our association in the S.A.R. field I have to say that the newsfeeds to this (and other European countries) have been so very heavily sanitized that most scenes are unrecogniseable to us who have been on the ground. The levels of degredation the population of many remote areas have been forced to sink too is truly heartrending. I have many photographs but I'm not publishing them now. In due course there will be a book.
So to one and all I bid a fond farewell and I thank you one and all for the interesting and valuable information I have gleaned.

Gracious, John - I'd had no idea that that was the cause of her injury! Poor old Jess, no wonder she looks woebegone in the photos. Glad to hear she's all right now though.
You take care of yourself, and take my best wishes with you on your travels. -- If you can keep your head when all around are losing theirs... then you've failed to grasp some important aspect of the situation.
