    Experience seems to show that very aero bents like the SP do
    not benefit from standard fairings. In fact, their
    performance may actually be degraded by adding a fairing. I
    own a SP, it may be that a custom fairing, designed and
    tested in a wind tunnel, could add some performance. If
    you're talking about a full fairing with a lycra body sock,
    that's a different matter.
