  1. Nick in response to your query about my failed flip-it (replaced with Terra Cycles Glide Flex) ... I
    am generally quite satisfied with RANS products and their customer service. They've shipped me
    gidgets to keep the seat from slipping and replaced the front wheel for lumpy seams, eventually
    replacing it with a welded Rhynolight at my request. The original RANS flip it was difficult to keep
    tensioned due to premature and constant wear of the delrin(?) pads. I can't blame RANS for this
    though. I think I brought the problem on myself by levering against the flip it while putting my
    VRex into and taking it out of my station wagon by lifting with fully extended handlebars.
    Eventually, there was metal on metal wear and metal debris sifting out. I opted to not seek warranty
    service, instead relying on Jude's recommendation for the Glide Flex mechanism that has been as good
    as he suggested it might be.
