I have seen the FacseSaver helmet, complete with Action Man branding and alarmist propaganda on the box, in Halfwits. Not seen one in a proper bike shop yet. Ugly and pointless were the two things that sprung to mind. But enough about the BeHIT logo on the box...
It was being pushed alongside a pedal kart. Clearly riding a four-wheeled pedal-powered vehicle is so dangerous as to require full-face protection. I will write to Halfords and ask why they don't push knee and elbow pads and full body armour in kids' sizes to go with it, since it is only a matter of time before some poor child riding one of these contraptions suffers a nasty graze ina crash. Always assuming that they can make the thing move weighed down by all that "protective" equipment.
