  1. More specifically for contact wearers I guess.

    I was just dx'd with an eye ulcer today and cannot wear a contact in that eye for one week. I do have glasses but they are a slightly older prescription and after all these years of wearing contacts it's difficult to go back to glasses with no peripheral vision.

    I'm very alert and good about reading people (I race cars as well so one thing you need to be good at is alertness). So driving is OK but I will not be taking any sightseeing tours till this is better

    But I'm concerned about riding esp since it's my right eye. I'd hate to be a split second off on seeing a car coming out of a drivieway or side street.

    Anyone had to deal with something like this before? I'm so bummed, our LBS is having its first group ride Wednesday. 🙁 I just took my 2nd outdoor ride on the bike last night.
