  1. I'm thinking of getting some 9 speed shifters for upgrade. Now I don't need the whole "why don't you go with..." I just need some good feedback on this line. I have SORA now and anything is up from that.

    Let me know what's up...

  2. The bike I ride came with Tiagra components. While my friend is having problems with his Ultegra setup and constantly replacing stuff, my group is working without a hitch. I plan on upgrading and going to Campy Centaur or Chorus but the Tiagra is a fine group.

  3. I have a full Tiagra g/set on my bike. Never had a problem. I specifically went for them because I don't like the shifters on the SORA. Nice thing about it is that it is compatible for upgrade with almost any g/set.

  4. Ditto...no problems...My front derailleur is Sora, and has been problematic, but the other components are Tiagra and have worked fine for me.

  5. I have full Tiagra setup and have no problems with it. It all seems fine to me, after about 1000 miles.

I tend to take care of it and tweak fairly often to keep the gear changes as smooth and accurate as possible, as they can get a little clunky if left for too long, but that's about it.
