  1. Thanks in advance for your comments/opinions.

I currently have several bikes and use Avocet computers on them all (acutally,
I swap the unit from one to the next - all have mounting kits and magnets).
Over the years, I have become unhappy with these units. Their availability and
    quality seems to have declined.

So I am considering other models. Since I need multiple units, I want to stick
to something simple and relatively low in price. I want to use a single,
standard size battery, and I want average speed plus other basic functions. I
want something that will last well and be reliable. No Avocet repeats!

If you have experience with the Echowell brand of cyclometers (F7 especially)
please let me know your opinion.

    Cheers,

    David

  2. David,

I'm a strong endorser of Echowell, have been for years. Indeed, I've even
converted some friends who are very finicky about all of their components.
We've tried various Avocets and Cateyes but haven't liked various aspects of
them nearly as much. I suggest the F2 model. Though the F7 works as well, I
    recommend getting the cadence features.
