Does anyone have any experience with either of these two phenomena?

It is really common for me to develop a pretty severe headache some hours later, and lasting for
some hours duration, after any kind of race I do: cycling, running, triathlon. Sometimes I have less
trouble than others and varying my nutrition and caffeine intake never seems to make a major
difference that I can tell. Motrin, etc., seems of variable benefit. Usually a good night's sleep is
the cure. Sorry I don't have any "tricks" to offer. Ralph
caveat: this isn't a cure---it's a suggestion to see if this is part of the problem. water. the
delayed dehydration can sometimes be the culprit, meaning that one needs to keep drinking well after
the event. this includes keeping a water bottle by the bed. looked at another way, i sometimes have
had success in floating away headaches. it's at least worth a try as it's a cheap fix if this is
your problem. peggy
I only get it with dehydration.
