New to the LC scene (as I'm sure you will be able to tell from the future
number of questions) - as background I'm 58, diabetic, #211 and want to
try
the low carb approach to watching my blood sugar...
From reading the posts, I guess the first place to start is keeping a food
log or daily diary for food intake, blood sugar reading, etc...and was
wondering if anyone had a spread sheet (I have Excel) or worksheet they
would like to share?
John,
Ask again on alt.support.diabetes (or check out people's sig lines, if
you're feeling shy). There's 3 or 4 people who have done clever things with
Excel, etc and post URLs to them regularly. Personally, I have an Excel
spreadsheet going back a year to my own diabetes diagnosis that shows pre,
1hr and two hour post prandial readings for most of my regular meals, plus a
daily log that now might show only 2 or 3 readings a day, just to check
there's no surprises. Not a lot of use to you, though, because it's just a
notepad really - it's in Excel just so I can do pretty graphs : )
Nicky.
