  1. Glorious evening for cycling.

Just got back from an evening pootle around the lanes (only 12 miles). It was
*lovely* the sun was behind light cloud, so there was a lot of rays spreading
out from behind the clouds. Light, warm breeze. Lambs in the fields all staring
at the strange human with an apparent fetish for Lycra in yellow & black riding
by on a bicycle. Spotted the odd deer and a couple of hares. In the field up
the road from home, a couple of horses are there with their foals. Lovely.

    Cheers, helen s

Same here, only not out in the country.WE've been getting lovely warm
weather at last, and last night it was 22C, with some high, thin clouds.
That was due to a front moving in and it's raining today. But it was a
lovely evening. At this time of year you can ride until 8pm.

There is a farm we pass by sometimes on our longer rides, and it has sheep.
Every spring they have a couple of lambs, cute brown lambs. Once we stopped
and went up to the fence, and the lambs bleated. BAAA! They don't see many
people walking around there. People either drive or ride bikes. I always
joke that I want to go out there and make sure the lambs are still there,
and that no one's eaten them. However, I don't think they are eatin' lambs.

    Eventually, they're all eatin' lambs.

Last weekend I helped make a lamb eaten:
