I'm looking for ideas/suggestions. I'd like to take a @ week (budget) tour in a relatively flat area this September. I've already ridden in Holland and Croatia; I'm particularly interested in Eastern Europe or maybe Northern Germany. I'm by myself, hence my desire for a group (although if anyone wants to join me we could form our own group).
Have any of you taken any interesting tours that you'd recommend? There are so many good ones out there when I search the web, I'm overwhelmed. I'm a 42 year old woman with two knee replacements -- as much as I love walking, I'm not good at it anymore, but I can cycle all day. So I've decided my traveling will have to center around cycling from now on. Please don't try to convince me the glory of riding alone -- I want to be with others and I don't want to tote luggage. I like a shower at the end of the day and a real bed (but it doesn't have to be fancy, like Backroads).
For flat, scenic, rides. I'd highly recommend the Mosel Valley in Germany.

Given your requirement for flat, the only things I can recommend are along rivers.
I fully agree. However, since she mentioned that she had an interest in Northern Germany, I would rather recommend the Weser, Hase and Ems rivers. All of them flat and scenic.
Reports of similar bicycle rides at the site mentioned in the .sig.
