Errmm...2x spoke pattern

  1. The Rohloff recommends, nay, demands a 2x pattern. Now while I'm happy
    building 3x, I cant find any easy diagrams (ala The One And Only Sheldon
    Brown) to follow. Is it the same, except I just don't cross three spokes?

    I'm sure I'm being thick here, but I just cant visualise it.

    Yes, just skip one spoke instead of two when you lace your final cross
    (you won't be able to make a mistake if you use an appropriate
    spokelenght 😉)

    And put your first spoke (the one that goes next to the valve hole)
    three hub holes away from the hub label to ensure the hub label is
    readable through the valve hole...if you're sad like me.

    So many people have said you *must* do this or everyone will laugh. The
    front is done "proper". Very therapeutic building wheels.

    I love Rohloff hubs, as this bit I get right everytime. Ofcourse having
    the label go round 360 degrees helps a bit 😉
