If they are black plastic, they are the new ones. I don't think that they made Mirage in 9sp in the
old style but someone could have installed a 9sp shift disk. -

Campagnolo started making round ended 9speed Mirage Ergolevers in '99, before that, they were
8speed. '99:had polished brake/shifter levers and white "Mirage" writing on brake hood. '00:black
brake/shifter levers and no writing on brake hood. '01-03:black brake/shifter levers and white
