For those of you that got an ergomo - have you ever successfully updated the firmware? I just downloaded the firmware file and software program to load it today but it doesn't work because the only COM port it selects to use is COM 3 and no other. Well, my wire uses COM 10 or 11 so I just can't update.
Do you think this is all a bogus update by ergomo to look good? Or did you get your firmware update to work and how did you do it?
Well, now I'm actually glad I got a working ergomo from ebay new for $1230. Latest prices are an ungodly $1650 and now they're not giving installation refunds like they used to. And the price of the BB has gone up to $895 to $949. That totally sucks, didn't it use to cost $700? For the price of a new BB maybe I'll just do a new Polar CS600 / wireless powermeter combo.
Hopefully I will get good power numbers from my workouts on Wednesday and Friday, and I don't want to fudge my K factor to lower the wattage.
