  1. Are there any riders out using their ergomo on a fixed gear/track bike?

While it's early days with the (new) ergomo installed user base probably still pretty small perhaps there won't be much response.

Any comments on its usefulness / limitations - especially when considering need to record standing starts, sprints, top end efforts etc. Please - only those that actually have specific experience or knowledge with ergomo.

    Many thanks

I use one on a Bianchi Pista. I do very little proper track racing though. I mostly use the bike for a change of pace sometimes doing endurance on it sometimes intervals of varying intesity. I think your immediate concern should be that the recordings are averaged over 5 seconds which will soften the kinds of efforts you are most interested in seeing. I have the older Sport version so maybe this has been changed on the latest incarnation of the product.

I use the new version and recording is possible also every second or 2. Dispaly of power on bike computer is possible on each crank turn or averaged every 2,3,4,5... turns.

What about negative torque, that can happen with a fixed gear...?
