    What do Schwalbe mean by "EPI" here: tinyurl.comyww43 ?

    Same as threads per inch?

    Looks like it. If you click on the term, you get the description:

    "Unit for the density of the carcass fabric. The higher the EPI, the denser the carcass and so the
    higher the quality of the tire."

    The density of the carcass fabric is expressed in EPI or TPI (Ends Per Inch or Threads Per Inch).
