Tour of Britain (started in Glasgow, Scotland). Damn, no British riders in the top seven.
Shame it's not on BBC until a 90-minute highlights show a week tomorrow. What are they thinking of? (I think it's also the day the Sustrans.org 10,000 miles passes through my town, but that's besides it.)
The BBC has pumped up cycling the last few Olympics, but it's not credible because they miss the chances the rest of the time. Even the BBCi cycling page seems to get results *after* www.tourofbritain.co.uk and CN.
Would the Whitehall/Westminster crit be that difficult to show live? Given the BBC has been priced out of some live sports coverage and how much our neighbours like cycle racing, they should be building cycle racing up!
