Save your money, drink milk and fruit juice. They contain all the protein and sugar you need. Data suggests that consuming protein after lifting is promotes better growth and maintenance.

There are many products avialalble. The manufacturers generally use a predigested casein for their protein source. You can drink milk, make an egg nog and get it all for less or eat a can of tuna. Compare the costs. Why pay $4.00 for a $.25 homemade brew. The other thing, data suggests that as little as 1 gram of protein is needed.
