  1. well ive got to the end of week one, & im very happy. ive lost
7lbs and not felt like giving up once (unlike my 2 previous
attempts). im full of energy and cant believe how easy i have found
it this time.having a low carb breakfast bar has been the godsend for
me, as i dreaded a cooked breakfast b4.plus low carb choc bars (that
taste just like bountys)have helped me through.and when i look at
what ive been eating im amazed. well pleased i gave it one more try.
it would be nice to see what others are eating on the atkins also.

breakfast 8.30 low carb brekkie bar. 4g
    10.00 2 egg & mushroom omelet & 2 97% sausages. 2.6g
    lunch 12.00 2 chicken legs & salad & mayo. 4.5
    snack 2-3 2 babybel cheese & choc bar. 0.4
tea 5-6.00 steak, cabbage, mange tout, mashed cauliflower, gravy
pudding: sugarfree jelly with thick squirty cream.6.7
    snack 8.00 choc bar (or 2). 0.4/0.8
extras 150ml of unsweetened soya milk ( 3-4 cups of tea)

although atkins says all cheese have carbs in , babybel doesnt nor
does edam. to help me choose foods, i bought the pocket collins carb
counter book, its relevant to english food & its my bible.im not
a big drinker so staying off the booze hasnt bothered me at all.
im sorry your struggling diane, what you say is how i felt b4, but one
thing i did change this time is how much water i drink. i was
drinking the 6-8 glasses b4 but i used to get really bad pains in my
back nr my kidneys, so this time im only drinking 3/4 & i dont
get the pain at all (nor the constant rushing to the loo). i cant say
that your doing it wrong, but i felt like that 1st time so i had a
carb blowout & started again. probably not the right advice but
    thats what i did.

  2. Congrats, just watch those low carb bars in the UK (and low carb Rolo's and
KitKats) whilst they are 'low carb' compared to the normal version, they are
still high carb compared to a piece of meat or cheese!

I lost 2 stone in 3 month but then it stopped. I could not work it out. I
gave up the low carb bars and away it went again. The clue is if you find
yourself [censored] for england the low carb bars are going through you ok. If
your insides rumble like a washing machine then sack the low carb bars.

After the initial 3 to 4 days you do start to feel pretty damb good and you
never look back as a rule. I had a problem with acne that just vanished when
I went low carb, so I thank it for that alone.....

    Keep it up!
