  1. Time to make a decision. There are two weekends left in August that are
doable for me, next wekend (13th) and the following one (20th).

I can make either so it is up to others to chip in their opinions.

Suggestion is to meet, as per last year, at 2ish at the Meadows,
followed by a meander around Arthurs seat with obligatory Ice Cream
    stop(s).

Both of these are tricky for me, and the weekend of the 28th/29th is
impossible. Choose the date, I'll come if I possibly can - but don't
rely on it. PS: anyone fancy helping marshall the Tour of Britain when
it comes to Castle Douglas on Tuesday 30th? I'm still short a few
    marshalls.

Either is good for me. If we can organise it in time, the earlier might
    be better.

    For those that aren't aware:

This will be a meet up for URC residents in / around Edinburgh. Last
year we also had visitors from Castle Douglas and Dundee. An opportunity
to put faces to names, see and possibly ride some different bikes
(Despite the pictures last year, this is not a recumbent only meet!).
    Small children welcomed and encouraged.

If people are interested, we can go for a meal in the evening, and there
is another cycle related fringe show for anyone who wants to make a
    night of it!

Anyone travelling from further afield, who would like a floor to sleep
    on, should email me.

If it's pm on the 13th, I'm likely to be at a certain bike shop in Glasgow
to have my bike attended to. My preference would be either the Sunday, or
the afternoon/evening of the 20th (or the week after that).

For alternative dates, remember the 14th is Fringe Sunday on the Meadows, so
the place will probably be rather packed.

I'd prefer the afternoon of the 20th. I want to do a reasonable length
ride before the Netherley Audax (having done nothing of substance [1]
since York) and would ideally like that to not be the week immediately
    before.

Should we fix on 20th pm unless there are a strong number of nay
    sayers?
