  1. In my teen years I took erythromycin daily as prescribed by my dermatologist for acne. I am
wondering if this could compromise my immunity for the rest of my life? Or have any negative effects
at all? I am a healthy adult but have recurrent yeast infections. Would long-term use of antibiotics
cause this? Any input is welcome.

  3. Hello! For sure, the long-term use of anti-biotics will have played havoc with your pro-biotics. Add
yogourt to your diet, along with pro-biotic supplements. I've known people who say it works wonders
in a short while. If you buy supplements, look for the highest bacteria count (by millions), make
sure the expiry date is a long way off, and that they are refrigererated in the store. Also
refrigerate them when you get home.

Look for yogourt and supplements with as many as four different types of active cultures:
S.Thermophillus, L. Bulgaricus, L. Acidophilus, and Bifidobacterium SPP.

Yeast problems will cause detrimental effects in many areas of your health. One that not many people
think of is your mental state - your mood will pick up considerably once it's under control.

    Best of luck.
