  1. Just caught a glimpse of paralympic cycling on tv [1]. How scary must it
    be to be (almost) blind, and be stoker on a fixed gear track tandem....

    Hah! It was really miserable here this morning so I just went for a
    short cycle and then this afternoon went down to the boat intending
    merely to tidy up and do the washing up that was left undone last time
    I went out...

    But when I got down to the boat it was looking a bit more promising so I
    dropped the mooring and got sail up... and the washing up still didn't
    get done! Turned into a thoroughly nice afternoon.

    That sounds great, I had to go shopping, of course I got the wrong things or
    forgot something so I ended up visiting Morrisons three times :-(. Tomorrow
    though I am doing a 150km Audax.
