  1. Hi
Can anyone tell me whether or not there is an "official" or recognised
walk - named "eden valley walk" I seem to remember a travel show bbc or itv
showing a walking holiday along this route ... or am I (as usual) confused?
    cheers
    Val

Yes there is, but not where most of us would expect to find it.
According to 'The Long Distance Walkers Handbook' it is 15 miles in
length (and hence not worthy of description or indeed a holiday) and
links (if I have understood the rather confused reference) the start of
the Medway Valley Walk (Kent) with the Vanguard Way and Kent County
    Council do a guide book.

OTOH if you want a real walk there is the Eden Way, 78 miles along the
    River Eden in Cumbria.
