I have had an interesting and educational correspondence with Beth of Alaska
here on ARBR on various threads. Now I feel the need to make my sentiments
clear as I realize I can easily be misunderstood because of my exaggerations
for rhetorical effect.
First off, I worship the ground women walk on. My mother was a saint as is
my sister, my sister in law and all my nieces. I have never known a woman
whom I do not consider a saint. They are just so much better than us men. I
know Beth is a saint too. I have been kidding her relentlessly on this
newsgroup, but she is just so much better than us men that there is no
comparison. Beth is confused about a few things, but that is because we men
are essentially monsters. Beth is good at heart and I detected this
immediately.
We men are truly monsters. I have been arguing with God all my life why He
made us this way. It requires enormous effort for us men to rise above our
natures. We never succeed entirely no matter how hard we try. I look to
women to how the human species ought to be. I am a Don Quixote and a
romanticist at heart. Women are a miracle put on this earth to remind us men
how much better we could be. I value the intellect and courage of men, but
women are goodness personified. It is far better to be good than to be
smart.
