Yes, folks, ARBR died some time ago and now I have officially declared it
dead and gone to Hell! Why continue with this nonsense any longer. There is
no one here but a few ghosts from times past. The group really needs a
Proust to give it justice. But instead it has only little old me!
Some of you may ask if ARBR ever amounted to a hill of beans. Actually, it
did at one time ... long, long ago. But then various assorted trolls,
[censored], idiots, cretins and morons (all liberals) showed up and ruined it
for everyone. Ed Gin gave it the coup de grace. And Mr. Tom Sherman,
formerly the heart and soul of ARBR, stood by and let it happen. Ed Dolan
fought the good fight, but what can one person do when everyone else turns
tail and runs like the craven cowards that they were (except Jim McNamara).
Of all the virtues, courage is the greatest because it makes all the other
virtues possible.
So why bother posting this news to the other cycling newsgroups? Because
what happened to ARBR can just as easily happen to you. All it takes for
evil to prevail is that good men do nothing. Evil criminal vandal trolls
must be fought tooth and nail. How do you fight them? Why, with words of
course! All that is required is that you screw up your courage. God ...
does not every one in this world hate a coward!
Ed Dolan now passes into legend. His stature on this group known as ARBR has
been heroic to say the least. But he got no support from Mr. Tom Sherman -
and so the group failed miserably. All is woe and misery here now. I am
thinking of going down to my dirt floor basement and hanging myself from the
rafters. We Minnesotans are like the Finns that way. Who the hell wants to
live through another winter anyway!
