  1. I got this recipe from my sweet mother-in-law when we first got married.
It is SUPER easy and always is a hit!

    Easy Peach Cobbler

1/2 cup (1 stick) of butter (or oleo)
    1 cup sugar
    1 cup milk
    1 cup flour
    1 tsp salt
    1 Tbsp baking powder
1 large can of sliced peaches

Melt butter in 9x13 pan. Drain the juice from the peaches into the butter
and stir together. Mix the sugar, flour, salt, baking powder together. Mix
in the milk to form a batter-like dough. Pour over the butter mixture.
Place sliced peaches on top. Bake at 350 until light brown--usually about
35-45 minutes. This will be gooey when hot, or will congeal when cooled
off. We like it hot with a dollop of vanilla ice cream on top!
