  1. Too bad figs aren't in season right now!

    Figs and Goat Cheese on Herb Crackers

    Ingredients
    8 fresh black figs
    4 ounces fresh goat cheese, crumbled
    32 Carr's® Rosemary Crackers
    Or
    32 Carr's® Table Water® Crackers with Cracked Pepper

    Directions
    1. Line baking sheet with foil. Wash figs. Pat dry with paper towels.
    Cut into thin slices. Place fig slices on prepared pan. Top with goat
    cheese. Broil 4- to 5-inches from heat for 1 to 2 minutes or until
    goat cheese just begins to soften. (Goat cheese will not melt.)

    2. Top crackers with cheese-topped fig slices. Serve immediately.

    YIELD: 16 servings
