Easton EC30 fork opinions?

I just got a Habanero road frame and I'm building it up. I noticed that Nashbar has the EC30 on sale for $119 in threaded. Anyway, I'm seriously considering it. I'm coming off an 18 yr old Vitus which has served me well. Needless to say I'm used to flexy and the comfort that goes with it. I weigh 155, am 58 and more of a recreational rider (although I like to go fast on downhills). Do you think the EC30 would be a good choice for me?

Hi Richard,

I think you want to ask Mike your question, he is the one with first hand experience with the Easton
fork, not me. The fact that the Easton is a bit flexy means that is is not right for me as I am in
the 220lb+ class.

I have an EC70 on my Rcoky Mtn Scandium. I am 200lbs, and the 70 seems to support me and handle
well. No unwanted flex, nicer than my old (cheap) Kestrel. FWIW.
