I also train at that times.
Before Swimming I will never eat but drink 500ml water.
When Biking or Running hard and/or long I will eat a powerbar and a
drink 500ml Hydro Plus, for easy and short workouts I prefer not to
eat before.
An exception is very long low intensity workouts, I will start them
without eating as well and start eating after an hour.
So in order to answer your question, I would never eat before swimming
and I would eat only prior to hard or long workouts.

I find I need to eat before working out or my workout suffers because
I get hungry and depleted. If I am going swimming or a bike ride I
usually eat oatmeal and a hard boiled egg and maybe cinnamon
toast, perhaps a bananna sometimes and my morning cup of tea. I can eat
this and just head out the door to workout. If I am going running then
I wake up earlier and have the same breakfast. I also have this
breakfast before races along with a bottle of carbo pro. I race IM
races so my workouts are long in duration and I need the calories.

The days I swim Im usually in the pool at about 6am, so at
about 5:30 I have some oatmeal with honey, and plenty of water. Then
afterwards a clif bar, coffee, water and juice will usually keep me until
lunch. I do my rides in the afternoon or evening, but if I run in the
morning I eat about the same for 10K or longer runs. A shorter run
(5K-5miles) I dont eat (just drink) or maybe have a GU and water.
Hope that helps. Alot of this will depend on your height/weight and your
sweat-rate.
