  1. hey folks, I'm really into learning how to fix my own bike. I bought a book and tools and have done
some repairs. Others I have done using common sense alone. My question is this: where can I learn
more? I can't exactly get a part time job in a bike store. Ar there places in the SF Bay Area where
I can learn more about fixing bikes? I'm going to take my old beat up mountain bike apart down to
the ball bearings and rebuild it for starters but I'd like to know more in a more structured
    environment. Thanks, Bill

  2. Where do you live in the Bay Area? Several good shops have classes and IIRC even REI has some stuff
    for bikies.
