Anyone with experience of running a Schmidt E6Z secondary front light?
Mine is behaving in complex ways, particularly in refusing to come back on if I switch it off while moving (and later on again, obviously). Sometimes it might take 20 seconds, sometimes it won't come on until the next ride. It has also blown two bulbs in 4 months, compared to the Lumotec alongside which it shines which has blown at most one in 2 years...

That's very mysterious. I have one on the tandem next to a Lumotec Oval Plus and it works perfectly. I don't think there's any electronics in the switch path, so the switch must just be jiggered - tried having a poke inside the light? What can you see if you take apart everything that will come apart and switch the switch?

If it's not happenning with yours, then it sounds like the switch may be misbehaving...

No, 3W bulbs are such a pain to get hold of that I'm sure of it!

Sounds like a plan. Mind you, it's been like this from the beginning, which is why I thought I might be missing some subtlety.
