  1. Hi all,

I’m keen to try an e-bike but entirely new to the idea. I am reluctant to spend too much on a new product and after Googling electronic bikes found they are very pricey and out of my range.

I found one being funded through Indiegogo and is being sold on a promotion for 60% off (link below

indiegogo.comzap the breakthrough e bike that torques it up

As Far as I can tell it looks pretty neat and decent, with good features. Having said that, I'm not exactly an expert!

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. I have found reputable e-bikes online but just not sure I want to drop thousands of dollars just yet!

Thanks in advance for any help!

  2. That does look like fun. My ebike was about $2400 US, so one for $1000 ish is a good deal.

Usually these small start-ups have cool products, the issue is how long might they be around to provide customer support?

  3. Wow, that seems expensive. Have you tried King's Motor Bikes? That's where I got one of my kits from, and the prices always seemed reasonable. No, I'm not plugging them, and I get no commission. Just passing on a good deal.

  4. Never heard of it ... And I'm pretty technologically challenged when it comes to assuming things, using tools, etc - so buying ready to ride is for me. I ordered mine from a Prodeco dealer lbs here in town.
