Just got the roadbike down off the wall after a break of too long, put a new
battery in the computer, 115psi in the Conti's a little oil around the place
and now to get some miles in before I forget the joys of hillwork. I might
do a few slower rides to start with - Brooklyn might be the go but I know it
will not be as fast as I used to be for a while (previously 10kg less
biomass 🙁 ). I have noticed the cable rings on the underside of the top
tube have corroded in the pause and the frame probably needs a good
sandblast & respray.
Is there anybody good at this in the north of Sydney?? I have a chromed
chainstay on the 531C frame - I guess they just mask that off but I reckon
the bike would be a bit quicker with a fresh coat - you know how it is..
TIA
Jock
