I have searched the archives and haven't been able to find any information on the problem I am
having. My apologies if this has been asked previously. I have the D/A STI shifters double. My
issue is that that brake levers occasionally will engage the front brake slightly when I go over a
bump on a trail or the road. I can eliminate the noise by opening the calipers wider. I would like
to know if there is any adjustment for the spring mechanism that would allow for the pull back of
the brake function on the levers to be stiffer, and less likely to engage when riding over bumps.

over a bump. Ya may try to increase spring tension of the caliper, by pulling the spring loose and
bending it up, then reinserting it in the caliper. Too bad these very expensive brakes do not have
