  1. Hi there, just wondering if anyone has had much experience with these
    chains.......specifically, do you need a special chain tool for these, or
    can you just use a universal tool. If not, and you have run out of 10 speed
    pins.....where can you order them from ?? Thanks!!

  2. rec.bicycles. tech can really help you out.
    but from what I understand you need to use the pins for that chain.

    I use a universal tool, but you need to follow the very specific instructions
    from the shimano website.

    Easy to find..any MO or decent bike shop. Look at the directions tho, the chain
    pin is directional-inside portion of the link forward when you put the pin in.
    Use any chain tool. The push thru pin is the same as shimano 8s and 9s, just
    shorter.
