Drum brake with 20" suspension fork?

Combination will not work. The problem is not the stength of the legs BUT the size of the flanges
and bulk of the brake actuator arm and hub flange. To start with the legs of the fork is already
FAT. When you slide the hub into the fork, the bulky hub flange with the brake actuator arm cover
hits the legs of the fork.

I was intrigued with the quetion so physicall tried a few minutes ago.

Thanks for checking. Sounds like it's either suspension or drum and I'd rather have the suspension.
The fork has brake bosses, so it's not vital. I guess I'll use the drum-brake wheel and lever for
trading stock. Some tandem builder may need it. The wheel is off a Bike Friday tandem.

The upper-end RST 20" fork (900?) has a wider spacing between the fork legs than the Sprite. This
will allow you to use your drum brake (or a disc brake, if you like).

I haven't checked this physically- I recall that Zach told me about the RST-900 fork a while back.
