  1. [font=Arial]I have a problem with my 2005 raleigh m80. It has an lx derailleur, deore shifters, truvativ blaze crank. The bike has about 600 miles on it

I developed a bad skipping in the small cog/middle chainring combo. It started out only under heavy load, and got to the point it would do it on the repair stand. I noticed I had a slightly bent middle chainring, so I replaced it with a brand new alloy one. Did not help. I replaced the chain which was slightly stretched, and the problem seemed to be fixed on the stand. But once I rode it, I noticed that now the chain will skip under very heavy load in just about any gear. It feels like the chain is not meshing with the gears. my cog does not look worn, and shouldn't be in 600 miles.

My original chain was a sram pc-49, and I replaced it with a sram pc-951. the cassette is a sram pg-950. I replaced the cables and housing. The derailleurs are perfectly adjusted. The cassette is clean.

    I''m stumped. any ideas?

    thanks in advance
