    Dried Fruit Balls

    Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

    1 cup dried apricots
    1 cup pitted dates
    1 cup seedless raisins
    1 cup flaked coconut
    3/4 cup confectioner's powdered sugar
    2 Tbsp orange juice
    more powdered sugar as needed

    Using the coarse blade, force fruits through a food chopper. Add the
    powdered sugar and orange juice; mix well and chill. Shape into 1" balls,
    using powdered sugar on hands and rolling surface as needed. Roll the
    balls in colored sugars. Store with waxed paper between layers in a cool
    place in a tightly covered container. Makes about 50.
