Watching Bobbly Flay's Hooked on Ques Episode. The guy just put a mixture with dried <powdered> butter (not listed in the recipe) and brown sugar on salmon. Where do you find dried butter? In a camping store?

Doesn't that sound like an oxymoron?
Perhaps he was using Butter Buds and its maker would not pay for the product placement, therefor the product went nameless.
Butter Buds® - "These natural butter concentrates are produced by liberating the fatty acids in butterfat, then encapsulating into a water soluble powder by spray drying. One unit of Butter Buds® yields the flavor strength of 8 to 80 units of butter. Low fat content, and very low applications levels mean that this ingredient contributes negligible fat to final formulations." http://www.bbuds.com/

I have seen Barbara posting with Butter Buds as an ingredient, but I have never seen them. Where are they sold, in the dairy department? I will look at a package when I go shopping.

Ham and eggs. A day's work for a chicken, a lifetime commitment for a pig.
