employer at any time either "for cause" or "not for cause."
Under a typical contract, the employer may terminate the
employment "for cause" only if the physician has been found
guilty of a felony, if the physician has been grossly
negligent, if the physician has repeatedly used poor medical
judgement thereby endangering patients and has been
unwilling to accept constructive criticism in this regard,
or if the physician has been unethical in his dealings with
patients, colleagues, or other employees.

does the physician have any recourse?

arbitration or trial.
