i tend to race on atleast 1 day a week (saturday, sunday) but during the week it doesnt seem like im doing enough. i do intervals (10 min) on tuesday or wednesday and other than that i just ride. ive never felt really exhausted from a usual training week. what else can i throw in to improve more? i have unlimited time. my biggest weakness is probably strength.

How do you do in your weekly races? If you're getting beat, where/how?

were good in our state, but i just went to fitchburg and got my ass handed to me. i lack the strength to even get up steeper hills even though im fairly light (140), i just cant turn the pedals, literally like trying to leg press more weight than you can do.also the constant accelerations. due to not being strong enough to get to the front, so im stuck in back and i have to accelerate than stop.

I wish you could share some of THAT problem with me.

Hehehe.. and seems I could share with you too. Never had problems with steep short hills or sprints. These are my strengths not my weaknesses.
My suggestion: weightroom, although ric might kill me. In your case it sounds like you really are a bit weak.
