  1. I'm sure there are probably dozens of case that people on this site could mention about doctors over-looking symptoms on the basis that the patient appears to have the above condition.

    Why is it (here in the UK) that when I go to visit the Doctor I almost feel like I am being a nuisance?

    Currently I'm not feeling so great and wonder if I am suffering from either acute bronchitis or anemia. Either way, I went to see the doctor 4 weeks ago and told her my symptoms.

    Has anyone here ever had to fight with their doctor in order to get a blood test done?

    I seem to recall reading an article by Joe Friel (Author of the Cyclist Training Bible) that he kept having to push his Doctor to get a blood test done. Eventually after the second test they found coxsickie? virus present.

    It would be interesting to here how people have successfully 'managed' their doctor.
