Do you ever smell blood during or after sprints?

Yeah that's exactly the smell I'm talking about.
I keep thinking maybe it's from sinuses, but it just doesn't seem like it.
It doesn't;t seem to come from the same pace as when I have a sinus
infection, seems to start at the back of my throat, I'm thinking bronchial
tubes.
I used to be very prone to bronchitis, up until a few years ago when I
finally figured out how to watch it very closely and stop every single
little cold and respiratory glitch from turning into bronchial infection.
I really think I need to get a good workup on my heart and lungs, especially
considering I never had one.

Hi everyone,

I just found the post below and it kinda talks about the same
problem that i have. I get the smell of blood from inside that no one
else can smell.

Since the post is a bit old..I just wanted to know what was the
treatment for this problem. Are you still living with this problem or
has this condition been treated. Would you be able to advise any
medical tests that i could go through to control or treat this
condition.

I'd really appreciate any suggestions/thoughts on this...Thanks a zillion...

Thanks

Omg I have been experiencing exactly what you described for the past 7 years every time I played sports, or even working out in the gym. The smell of blood in my mouth is so intense that sometime I get that I might puke blood. But Doc says i am healthy and my heart is fine too. After reading your post, I think I'm gonna go for further consultation with a specialist or someone who can explain to me this condition.

Oddly I do. I think it's because of the increase in heart rate so blood is being pumped around really fast so it's hitting harder against sensors in our body. So we would smell/taste it in that case.
