  1. Hi, I've been experiencing periods of dizziness and
lightheadedness for a couple of years now and recently it
has flared up again. For instance, when I stand up and start
walking across the room, I get this sudden lightheaded
feeling and then my vision goes away for a few seconds (I
see stars). I bend over and it seems to take care of it.
Then I get a pulse that pounds really hard for about a
minute following the episode. The other time I experience
these symptoms is when I'm exercising on the treadmill, when
a little waise through the workout I start getting
lightheaded and have to stop for about a minute so it goes
away. My blood pressure is quite good, around 124/72. Are
there any heart conditions that can cause the problems that
I just mentioned? Thanks for your help in advance.

Yes. And, for this reason, you should seek an evaluation by
    a cardiologist.
