This may or may not be of interest but it amused me. Quite near to where I live in Northumberland in the UK I saw a truly cyclist friendly sign offering discounts for cyclists at the Dunstanburgh Castle Hotel in Embleton. I couldn't resist taking a shot of the sign, click here to check it out.

Thats a great sign.
Too bad more businesses don't do that.
There are a few businesses (20 or so?) here in Vancouver that give a discount to cyclists. They range from grocers, to book stores with several small indepentant shops in between.
Good deal, although I do remember looking at the list and thinking that none of the stores were either near my regular routes or very useful to me. Fantastic idea though.
