Disc Brake Question

  1. OK, I'm stupid I'll admit it. What does the different diameter rotors
    mean to the calipers. Can I by calipers for 160mm and use 180mm rotors,
    Or, more to the point, Hope claim 165mm for the M4s and I have 160.
    Will it make any difference?

    You'll need a different mounting bracket so that the calliper is the
    right distance from the axle (so that the pads run in the middle of the
    brake track on the rotor). Also, some forks have a maximum recommended
    rotor size.
