So I currently have a Specialized Sirrus Comp with hydraulic disc brakes. I am looking to purchase a winter specific wheelset and am having some difficulty understanding the difference in the disc brake hub design either 6 bolt or centerlock. I want to make sure that either will work on my setup. Mine has the 6 bolt design, but would a centerlock design work as long as the rotors are the proper size?

The answer is that usually they are interchangeable. But if you're buying a set of used wheels as beater wheels you can never be sure what has been done to the wheels.
