  1. It's going to be to hot to really cook today so I'm going to utilize my
seldom used crockpot. I have a rump roast and decided to make a very easy
recipe to make Italian style sandwiches with. The roast is already in the
crockpot and beginning to smell good 😉 Got the recipe off of
tastycrockpotrecipes.net. I'll serve it up with a salad with a bleu cheese
viniagrette and probably I'll make some potato salad. I've got a 5lb bag
    of russets that musgo.

    Crockpot Italian Beef
    by Debbi DeSisto

    3 pound rump roast
1 package Good Seasons Italian dressing, dry
    1/2 cup pepperocini juice
1 beef bullion cube (I'll use beef stock I have in the freezer stored in
    ice cube trays)

Place roast in slow cooker. Mix Italian dressing, pepperocini juice and
bullion cube and pour over roast. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours. Take
roast out of slow cooker and shred. Return to slow cooker and cook an
additional 2 hours. Serve on Italian rolls. Makes 6 - 10 sandwiches.
