  1. Grilled flank steak marinated in a red wine vinagrette (red wine
    vinegar, oil, garlic, oregano, basil)
Grilled red potatoes in the same vinagrette
    Grilled sweet corn

and i've got chicken stock simmering on the stove... finally used the
last of what i made in march. I think i'm coming down with something-
before i go to bed, i might whip up some matzah ball soup. maybe. if i
don't collapse by then 🙂 Chix legs were on sale for $0.49 a pound, so
this batch might end up being cheaper than buying that salt water that
comes in a can 🙂 Does anyone make a "chicken stock simmering on the
stove" air freshener? they should 🙂 or maybe more people should make
    their own stock!

What i want to know is why the hell people shuck their corn in the
store! All you need to do is open 'em a little to make sure they're not
rotten. i had to wade through a pile of husks just to find two nice ears.

If my store didn't provide a trash barrel for the husks, I wouldn't do
it. They do. I do. Must've been a problem for them. Me? Ida Know, I
guess I'd rather stand there and do it so they're ready when I get home.
FWIW, I've only done it once.
